Festive Ceremony in Copenhagen
The Romanian Embassy in Copenhagen hosted a festive ceremony:
Ms. Margarethe Vestager, a prominent figure in political and academic life in Denmark and Europe, was awarded the National Order “Steaua României” (Star of Romania) in the rank of Grand Officer on behalf of the President of Romania.
In her acceptance speech, Ms. Vestager highlighted Romania’s great potential within Europe and emphasized its commitment to democratic values. The ceremonial laudatory speech was given by Professor Cornel Ban from Copenhagen Business School, who praised Ms. Vestager’s achievements. The evening was accompanied by music from Andrei Venczel and Bogdan Nicola, whose contributions created a special atmosphere and joy.
Among the guests were high-ranking representatives from the fields of diplomacy, politics, science, and culture.
