Hymns in 2017

As hymns arise in the streets of your heart,
golden chances richly adorn your life
and joy makes your eyes light up,
as the light of heaven illuminates you,
remember that right beside you some must overcome
who have no streets, no chances,
who know no hymns, whose hearts feel nothing anymore
and whose eyes are drowned in tears.
Remember that you, too, can change it
and let your love act.
